Mauricio Bianco is Vice President of Conservation International Brazil (CI-Brazil). He is responsible for providing strategic and programmatic direction for the Brazil office. In this role, Mauricio identifies opportunities and trends to achieve positive impacts for the people and environment of Brazil, with an emphasis on nature-based solutions to climate change, sustainable development, and building partnerships. Prior to joining CI-Brazil, Mauricio worked for more than two years at ChildFund in the Brazilian national office, where he was responsible for communications and fundraising. Prior to that, he worked for more than 12 years at TIM (telecom operator in Brazil) as the corporate affairs manager. Mauricio holds a degree in Hotel Management and Tourism from the University of Caxias do Sul (UCS). He earned a specialization in Strategic Management/Marketing from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and completed the Executives Development Program at Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC).
