The GCF Task Force, together with the Government of Yucatan, could not have organized our 13th Annual Meeting without the support of our incredible sponsors. You helped ensure not only the success of this meeting – but also the strengthening of this important network of Governors, civil servants and Environment Secretaries, Indigenous and local community partners, civil society organizations and conservation groups, researchers and academic institutions, youth, and so many other partners.
The GCF Task Force has organized around the four pillars of the Manaus Action Plan for a New Forest Economy (Governance and Public Policy; People and Communities; Knowledge, Technology, and Innovation; and Finance, Investment, and the Private Sector) precisely because all of us need to work together to support lasting reductions in deforestation, enable just and new forest economies that benefit people and are created in partnership, and address the climate crisis.
Thank you – each of you – for joining in this effort.
Thank you – Merci – Terima kasih – Obrigado – Gracias
