Camilla Miranda is an Architect and Urban Planner, and graduated from the Federal University of Pará, and a postgraduate degree in “Environment Design” from the Faculty of Fine Arts of São Paulo. In 2011 and 2012, she was Secretary of the Environment for the municipality of Belém.
She is the author of technical articles in the areas of sustainability, natural and cultural heritage and governance presented at international conferences. She has also acted as a consultant on local development, innovation, governance and public policy. She served for 6 years in the government of the State of Pará as coordinator of Institutional Articulation and Governance of the Green Municipalities Program. She coordinated the Architecture and Urbanism course and the social responsibility center at the University of Amazonia. She was a professor of Architecture and Urbanism and Civil Engineering courses at the same university.
