Eduardo Taveira has a Master’s in Environmental Sciences and Sustainability in Amazonia from the Federal University of Amazonas, a degree in Social Sciences from Ufam (2000) and a specialization in Sustainable Development (2004).
He has been State Secretary of Environment of Amazonas since January 2019, was President of the Forum of Secretaries of Environment of the Legal Amazon until January 2023 and is current Vice President of the Brazilian Association of State Environmental Entities (Abema). He has over 15 years of experience with public management, environmental and income generation projects in the Brazilian Amazon and internationally.
